Rod & Gun Club

Our club will re-open on Friday, May 22 at 9:00AM. To ensure the safety, health and well-being of our members, and to limit potential exposure to Covid-19 the following will be strictly enforced. It is up to all members to supervise ourselves. If you are exhibiting any signs or symptoms or have been around someone showing signs of the virus, do not enter the club and please leave the club premises.

  • Members only, NO GUESTS will be allowed until further notice.
  • No use of the club for instructional purposes of students will be allowed.
  • Safe distancing must be maintained and persons on the property may be limited.
  • No meetings will be held at the club through the summer.
  • All activities through June are cancelled.
  • Members are required to use shooting positions as marked only.
  • Protective masks must always be worn when inside any building and outdoors when social distancing cannot be maintained. Persons that fail to adhere to any of these rules will be asked to leave the property.
  • Members are not allowed to congregate anywhere on the premises without maintaining social distancing
  • The bathrooms in the clubhouse will be open through the rear door only. The rest of the clubhouse will be off-limits to minimize the potential spread of the virus.
  • Only the outdoor ranges will be open at this time.
  • Members need to provide their own hand sanitizer and materials to sanitize their shooting area.
  • Cleaning will be conducted on a more regular basis to include the wiping with disinfectant of high touch surfaces in range and bathrooms.
  • Shooting will be limited to 1 hour if people are waiting.
  • Only one person at a time in each shooting lane.
  • Please remain in your car if you are waiting for a shooting lane to open.
  • Skeet will only be open during supervised times. Check the website calendar for hours of operation.
  • Tuesday and Thursday 9am-10am is limited to senior shooters age 60 or older

When you arrive, please add your name to the white board posted outside of the outdoor range in the appropriate column: handgun (left side of the range) or long gun (right side of the range.) When its your turn to shoot, add the time the time you enter the range next to your name.

We are looking for volunteers to help oversee the range to make sure we remain safe. Please contact Dave Greenwood if you would like to help.

It is the Board's goal to keep the club open and operational for use by our members in the days to come. Maintaining a safe environment is paramount. If, however, these rules are not followed, disregarding the safety protocols will be grounds to appear before the Board. We do not want to have to shut down the Club once we get it open again because people are not adhering to safety protocols.

Dave Greenwood
